How OnTime Is Scaling its Delivery Marketplace Network with DelivApp

In just four years, OnTime grew from a local delivery marketplace into a franchise-based delivery network operating in several cities across Israel — serving ~160 restaurants and handling ~10,000 deliveries per month, all with a central team of only two people.

This is the story of how the right technology — and the right partnership — made that scale possible.

About OnTime

OnTime (formerly Amigo) was founded with a clear goal:

to build a local-first delivery network that serves small and mid-sized restaurants — especially in Israel’s periphery — while remaining operationally lean.

Instead of a heavy centralized operation, OnTime chose a franchise model:

  • Local franchisees manage day-to-day operations in each city

  • The central team stays small, focused, and scalable

Today, OnTime operates in four cities across Israel and continues to expand.

The Challenge

As the business model evolved, several challenges became clear:

No system fit the business model

OnTime needed a platform that could support:

  • Customer ordering apps

  • Restaurant management

  • Delivery operations

  • Financial settlements

    — all in one system

No off-the-shelf solution matched these needs.

Too much manual work

Payments to restaurants were calculated manually, invoices were handled one by one, and financial reporting consumed hours of operational time.

Growth depended on the founders

Every new city or franchise launch required direct involvement from the founders — from onboarding to restaurant recruitment — slowing down expansion.

Why DelivApp

From day one, DelivApp was designed as a full delivery operating system, not just a piece of software.

“Without DelivApp — this wouldn’t have happened.”

DelivApp provided:

  • A unified platform for ordering, delivery, and operations

  • A scalable infrastructure ready for multi-city growth

  • The flexibility to adapt the system to a unique franchise model

Most importantly, DelivApp worked as a partner, not just a vendor.

The Solution

A platform built together with the operator

DelivApp and OnTime worked closely to shape workflows, features, and tools based on real operational needs.

“We don’t see DelivApp as a software company — but as partners. We build the system together.”

Financial automation at scale

What once required hours of manual work now happens instantly:

  • Automated reports

  • Automatic invoice generation

  • Streamlined restaurant settlements

“Today I press Enter and the report is ready.”

Standardization that enables franchise growth

With a clear and consistent system in place, new franchisees can launch independently — without heavy involvement from the founders.

“When everything works in a unified way, even a new franchisee immediately understands what to do.”

The Results

  • 4 years in operation

  • 4 cities

  • ~160 restaurants

  • ~10,000 deliveries per month

  • 4.7★ rating on Google Play and App Store

And most importantly — growth without adding operational overhead.

Built for What Comes Next

OnTime’s vision is clear:

“To expand nationwide through franchises — without growing the central team.”

With DelivApp as its technology partner, the platform is already built for that scale.

“We don’t need more managers. We need a platform we can grow with.”
